Ingredients
140ml/5fl oz double cream
200g/7oz Port Salut cheese
freshly ground black pepper
1 shallot, finely chopped
1 garlic clove, crushed
splash white wine
½ lemon, juice only
char-grilled bread, to serve
Method
1. Place all of the ingredients into a heatproof bowl placed over a saucepan of simmering water or double boiler to gently melt.
2. Serve with char-grilled bread.
