Green beans with ginger and mustard (Veg)

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • ½ tsp mustard seeds

  • 200g/7oz green beans, trimmed and par-boiled

  • 1 tsp cumin powder

  • 1 tsp peeled and grated root ginger

  • ¼ tsp salt

Preparation method

  1. Heat the oil in a saucepan. Add the mustard seeds.

  2. A few seconds later tip in the beans with the cumin and fry for 1 minute.

  3. Stir in the ginger and salt and sauté over a low heat for 5 minutes.
