Chicken kofta balls
Ingredients
1 garlic clove
2.5cm/1in piece fresh ginger
½ red pepper
1 onion, roughly chopped
2 fresh green chillies
6 tbsp vegetable oil
4 tsp garam masala
1 tsp ground turmeric
4 tbsp chopped fresh coriander
½ tsp salt
2 boneless skinless chicken breasts, chopped coarsely
Preparation method

Place the garlic, ginger, red pepper, onion and chillies in blender and blend to a fine paste.

In a frying pan, heat two tablespoons of the oil and fry the garam masala and turmeric for a few seconds. Add the paste and fry until soft. Remove from the heat and leave to cool.

Once cool, place the paste in a bowl with the chopped chicken and mix well. Using your hands, shape the mixture into balls.

Heat the remaining oil in a large pan and add the chicken balls. Fry for 8-10 minutes, or until cooked all the way through. Remove from the pan with a slotted spoon and drain on kitchen paper. Serve at once.
