Ingredients
For the beef stir-fry
2 tbsp vegetable oil
½ red onion
1 tomato, cut into wedges
½ broccoli stem, sliced
1 garlic clove
½ tsp ground turmeric
½ tsp fresh ginger, grated
150g/5½ oz beef, sliced
2 tbsp soy sauce
Method
1. To make the stir-fry, heat the vegetable oil in a hot wok. Add the red onion and cook for one minute.
2. Add the tomato, broccoli, garlic and spices cook for one more minute.
3. Add the beef and soy sauce and cook for a further minute.
4. Serve immediately.
