Ingredients
30g/1oz unsalted butter
1 garlic clove, peeled and chopped
175g/6¼oz wild mushrooms, sliced
½ lemon, juice and zest only
2 tbsp parsley, chopped
1 slice bread, toasted
sprigs fresh chervil, to garnish
Method
1. Gently melt the butter in a pan and sauté the garlic for one minute.
2. Add the mushrooms to the pan and sauté for another 3-4 minutes, until softened. Stir in the lemon juice and zest.
3. Meanwhile, arrange the warm toast onto a serving plate. Spoon the mushroom mixture on top and garnish with chervil to serve.
