Ingredients
1 tbsp honey
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tsp sesame oil
110g/4oz rump steak, sliced
110g/4oz sweet potato, peeled, thinly sliced
Fresh chives, to garnish
sesame seeds, to sprinkle
Method
1.Soak three bamboo skewers in water for ten minutes.
2. Mix the honey, soy sauce and sesame oil together in a bowl. Thread the beef on to three bamboo skewers, acover with the soy sauce mixture and leave to marinate for 5-10 minutes.
3. Heat a griddle pan and brush with oil. When hot, add the sweet potato slices for two minutes on each side, or until golden. When done, remove from pan and keep warm.
4. Meanwhile add the beef skewers and griddle for two minutes on each side, or until cooked to your liking.
5. To serve, place the beef skewers on a plate, top with the sweet potatoes and garnish with the chives and sesame seeds.
