Ingredients
½ pear, cored, thinly sliced on a mandoline
½ orange, zest only
3 tbsp cream cheese
1 tbsp chopped lemon verbena leaves
1 tomato, sliced
fresh chives, to garnish
Method
1. Arrange the pear slices on a serving plate and scatter over the orange zest.
2. Combine the cream cheese and chopped lemon verbena leaves in a bowl. Place a slice of tomato on top of the pear and top with a spoonful of the cream cheese mixture. Repeat with the remaining tomato and cheese, alternating the layers.
3. Garnish with the chives and serve.
